Microsoft Entra¶

The following steps outline how to setup Microsoft Entra SSO using SAML.

1. Open Microsoft Entra ID in the Azure console.
2. Click on Enterprise Applications in the left menu.
3. Click on New application in the top menu.
4. Click on Create your own application in the top menu.
5. Name your application such as Nextmv SSO, and click the Create button.
6. Click on Get started under the Setup single sign on block.
7. Select SAML.
8. Click on edit for the Basic SAML configuration.
9. Set the identifier (please contact support for value).
10. Set the Reply URL to https://auth.cloud.nextmv.io/saml2/idpresponse.
11. Click on edit for Attributes and Claims.

12. Delete additional claims and add the following new claims:

    • Claim name: email, value: user.mail
    • Claim name: name, value: user.userprincipalname

13. Copy off the App Federation Metadata Url under the SAML Certificates section.

14. Perform Nextmv setup outlined in the SSO overview.
